Indian Navy has invited applications from the candidates to apply for Sailor SSR and AA. The recruitment drive is to fill the vacancies up to 2700 posts of Sailors. The last date to apply for the post of Sailor AA and SSR is till 18th November 2019.
The recruitment of sailors for SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) and AA (Artificer Apprentice) will be for the August 2020 batch.

Vacancy details:
- Sailor SSR- 2200 posts.
- Sailor AA – 500 posts.

Educational qualification:
For Sailor AA- the candidates should have passed the 12th Class exam with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Physics and Maths and at least one of these subjects- Computer science/Chemistry/Biology from the Boards of school education recognized by MHRD, Government of India.
For Sailor SSR- the candidates must have qualified in the 12th Class exam with Physics and Maths and at least one of these subjects- Computer science/Chemistry/Biology from the Boards of school education recognized by MHRD, Government of India.
Age limit:
The candidates should be born between 1st August 2000 to 31st July 2003 (both dates inclusive).
Selection process:
Sailor AA- the candidates will be selected based on the all India order of merit on their performance in computer-based test, subject to qualifying physical fitness tests (Qualifying the physical fitness test is mandatory) and medical examination.
