Minimum educational qualification and work experience requirement:
(a) M. Sc. in Physics/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Mathematics with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
(b) The applicant should possess good computer skills to handle Geophysical and Geochemical datasets. Selected candidates may have to travel to various parts of India to collect geological samples.
(c) Selected candidates would be engaged to assist in teaching and research projects related to Earth and Climate Sciences.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 28 years. Age relaxation may be applicable for meritorious and experienced candidates.
Tenure: 1 year (may be extended on satisfactory completion)
Remuneration: For CSIR NET/UGC/GATE/JEST cleared candidates – Rs. 25,000 per month.
Others, depending on experience – Rs. 12,000 to 16,000 per month
