The JEE 2015 Seat Allocation process for the IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology) is finally over and the IIITs are scheduled to begin their academic year in the month of August. So, let us now take a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks in 2015 for the different IIITs. In this article, we look at the cutoffs for Indian Institute of Information Technology-Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur.
The Indian Institute of Information Technology-Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur was established in year 2005. Primary goal of the institute is to educate and train engineers who are dealing with design and manufacturing of engineering goods. The institute started functioning from the Jabalpur Engineering College’s campus in 2005 until its permanent campus was constructed. The Institute is on a campus of 260 acres (1.1 km2) close to the Domestic Airport.
Construction of the lab Complex and Hostels started thereafter and was completed in June 2009, following the Institute being granted Deemed-to-be University status that month. The campus also includes three hostels while several Hall of Residences are still under construction. The Institute is being developed under the IIIT D&M Jabalpur – Japan collaboration partnership which focuses on using Information Technology to implement Design and Manufacturing.
At the undergraduate level (B. E. / B. Tech.), this college offers 261 seats in 3 branches. Selections to these seats is done on the basis of a student’s All India Rank in the JEE Main 2015. The list given below mentions the opening and closing ranks of students across different categories that were selected to the various courses at this IIIT in 2015.
