The Indian Army has invited applications from female candidates for admissions to 4-year B. SC nursing course beginning in 2020 at colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services.
The candidates will be given admissions in colleges of nursing based on the merit cum choice, subject to medical fitness and vacancies in each college. The selected candidates shall execute a Bond/Agreement to serve in the Military Nursing Service.
On successful conclusion of nursing education of 4 years, the candidates will be approved short or permanent service commission in the military nursing service, under the terms and conditions laid for the grants of such commission.
The online registration, application, and fee payment can be done online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The candidates can fill the application form 14th November 2019 to 2nd December 2019.

Eligibility Criteria:
The female candidates who are unmarried/legally separated/divorced/widow without encumbrances can apply.
Nationality:
The candidate should be a citizen of India.
Date of birth:
The candidate should be born between 1st October 1995 and 30th September 2003 (both dates inclusive).
Educational qualification:
The candidate should have passed in the senior secondary exam in the first attempt or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry, biology, and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks as a regular student from a recognized board/university/exam body/statutory. The candidates in the final year of nursing can also apply.
Selection Process:
The candidates will be selected based on the CBT of 90 minutes duration with subjects General English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Intelligence. The candidates will be called for the interview and medical examination based on the merit of CBT at selected centres during May 2020.
