The Indian Air Force has started to accept the application for the post of Airmen in Group Y (Non-Technical) trade-in various divisions. There are some educational specifications which are required if the candidate wants to apply for the post. The date of birth of the candidate should be between July 14, 1998, and June 26, 2002.
The criteria for the selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in written test and Physical fitness test.
The date of recruitment in different districts are as follows:
- JALANDHAR
The recruitment exam will be held from August 5 to August 9 for the post of Automobile technician and Indian Airforce Police at the Punjab Armed Police Grounds, Jalandhar, Punjab.
- JHARKHAND
The exam for Indian Airforce Security will be held from August 24 to 29 at the DAV Public School, Koyla Nagar, Jharkhand.
- TELANGANA
The Group Y recruitment test and the Indian Airforce Security exam will be held at Integrated Office Complex, Gajwel, Telangana from February 26 to March 2019.
- BARRACKPORE
The Group Y test and the Indian Airforce Police test which is to be held from February 26 to March 3 is open to candidates hailing from West Bengal and Sikkim. The venue is Airforce station, Barrackpore, West Bengal.
Interested candidate can apply through online also, and the form should be submitted on the date of the interview or exam.
