I came to IMT Hyderabad as a fresh BBA Graduate in 2016. If I were to be objectively honest, I didn’t have any idea what I’d expect. I’d heard good reviews of the faculty and the courses, and decided to consequently come here.
From the get go, I realised my future was in safe hands. The faculty present here delivered their lectures with such dexterity and finesse I never really felt uneasy at learning. The environment of the classrooms has always been incredibly inclusive and organic.
Aside from the classroom learning, I gained a lot of extracurricular Experience through the different clubs and committees I have been a part of. I’m a core member of Mercatus Mantra: The Marketing club of IMT Hyderabad, The Media Relations Committee of IMT Hyderabad, the Organizing Committees of Periodos ( college sports fest), Impelz (Management fest of the college) and TEDx IMTHyderabad. The freedom which this college gave me in my endeavor to deliver these events and Experiences has been tremendous. As a part of the MRC, I manage the social media accounts if the college (which frankly, is really cool).
My internship at Changemytyre.com empowered me with a great deal of knowledge regarding digital marketing and Business Development. In my second year, one of the larger aspects of the journey took place; placements. With companies like Verity, Amazon, Novartis, TVS Motors coming in, I was confident about finding a profile and company which suited me. And sure enough, soon came Walmart with their Assistant management profile!
This college has given me a lot these past few months. Incredible experiences, a great deal of learning, and some amazing friends. So the question you should be asking yourself isn’t “Why IMT Hyderabad?” It should be “Why am I not there already?”
