IIHMR University, a premier health management research university in India, has successfully achieved a remarkable 100% summer internship placement for the 2023-25 batch. Internships were secured for the flagship two-year programs: MBA (Hospital and Health Management), MBA (Pharmaceutical Management), and MBA (Development Management).
The eight-week summer internships will run from May 2024 to June 2024. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 25,000 per month, while the average stipend was Rs. 10,525 per month. All 364 participating students were placed, including 227 students from MBA (Hospital and Health Management), 126 students from MBA (Pharmaceutical Management), and 11 students from MBA (Development Management). Students were placed in diverse roles across sectors such as Hospitals, Public Health Organizations, Consultancies, FMCGs, NGOs, Diagnostics, Health ITs, Medical Devices, and Pharmaceuticals.

Notably, 149 prestigious companies approached IIHMR University for summer internships, underscoring the university’s supportive academic environment. Renowned organisations such as AIIMS, Apollo Hospitals, Ernst & Young, Dabur, Fortis Hospital, Cipla, CK Birla Group of Hospitals, NITI Aayog, Tata Steel Foundation, Jhpiego, and Narayana Health were among the recruiters. Additionally, an international internship offer was made by Dubai-based AL-Noor Veterinary Medicines Trading LLC.
