The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) declared results for the MBA (International Business) programme on December 23, 2016. The entrance test for the Institute was conducted on November 27 at the New Delhi and Kolkata centres.
Those who have qualified for the next round are expected to receive a form within the next few days, which they will have to fill and submit within the following 10 days. The city and slot of the interview will be altered by the administration only if the candidate has a valid reason. Those selected for the next level, which is the Group Discussion (GD/ Personal Interview (PI) round will be informed about dates and location of the process by Mid January. Candidates will have to bring in their original mark sheets (10th, 12th, UG), work experience letter/pay slips for the process.
The GD/PI/WAT process is finally expected to begin around the first week of February which may go on till mid-March. Soon thereafter, the first shortlist of candidates for both its colleges, namely, Delhi and Kolkata will be declared. The students will then have a month to pay the fees. The waiting list is expected to be declared only within a few weeks following the last date of fee payment for those whose names get declared in the first list.
Finally, after the closure of the whole process, IIFT is expected to commence its classes from the first week of July.
