HPPSC (Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission) has invited applications from the candidates for the Lecturer post. The last date to apply for the Lecturer position is till 22nd November 2019. This recruitment drive is to fill up to 396 vacancies for the Lecturer post in the organization.

The post of Lecturer will be filled in the Department of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh, through OTRS.

• English – 47 posts.
• Hindi – 47 posts.
• History – 47 posts.
• Political Science – 40 posts.
• Commerce – 215 posts.

The interested candidates must apply for the post by visiting the official website www.hppsc.hp.gov.in.

Educational qualification:

• Academic qualification- the candidate should have a Master’s degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University with 50% minimum aggregate marks or its equivalent. The candidate has a master’s degree in public administration eligible for the Lecturer (School new) in political science.
• Lecturer (school new) commerce- the candidate should have completed commerce with accountancy or financial accountancy and IT as a major subject of study. The candidate holding the degree of master of finance control is also eligible for the lecturer post.

Age limit:

The candidate should be between the age of 18 to 45 as on 1st January 2019.

Selection Process:

The candidates will be selected based on the written objective type test. The marks obtained in the objective type test shall be taken into account for deciding the merit list of the candidates. The candidates who qualify the written test will have to appear for evaluation. The final selection for the Lecturer post will be based on the marks obtained in the written test and evaluation.
