With the new format of entrance tests for engineering studies, students have to concentrate on both their 12th Board exams as well as their entrance exams. They have to score well in both these exams to get into their desired colleges.
In the normal world, the student would go to college in the morning, then attend their entrance exam classes, and (if they have joined) then attend college tutions or classes. This leaves them with very little time to do any self-study, and their energy is also low at the end of the day to do anything. The student gets demotivated and depressed – their whole day has been spent in commuting from one place of study to another, and they are not left with enough time for themselves – to rest, entertain, or do any self-study.
The concept of synchronized learning, also called integrated coaching, was born out of the idea that students need not go to multiple places every day to get their study needs fulfilled. All their needs should be fulfilled at the same location within just one time slot. Studies related to both their board exam syllabus for all subjects, as well as their entrance exam syllabus, take place in the same classroom, so that the student does not need to go to multiple locations to study. This helps save students time by reducing their commute, as well as reducing the hours that they spend in different classrooms.
Another benefit of synchronized learning is that the common subjects in both exams – subjects like Maths and Physics – are taught by the same professor and the different ways to answer them in both exams are taught at the same time. Hence, the student needs to learn these concepts just once, since they are the same, only the way they are used being different for different exams.
One reason college students opt for coaching classes is that the learning they are getting within their respective colleges is not enough, and they need more teaching to understand the subjects. If synchronized learning is properly executed, the student will not need extra coaching for college subjects and will be satisfied with what is taught in class. This reduces the load on their time as well.
If relevant and exhaustive learning solutions that are quite engaging are taught by experienced professors using state of the art infrastructure, students will not need any external coaching for any subject. This is a holistic approach that covers the depth and breadth of both the formal Board syllabus and the competitive exam syllabus, and saves time and avoids duplication of effort by students.
There are many success stories of how synchronized learning has come useful across many cities where such institutes are present. Students have welcomed the platform with open arms and prefer it to normal college structures.
