Falling under the Ministry of Mines, Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) is a public sector enterprise owned by the Government of India. According to a new notification, a few vacancies have been announced by Hindustan Copper Limited for recruitment in 2019.
The vacancies announced by Hindustan Copper Limited are for the posts of Hindi translator and Stenographer. Candidates must make the applications If they are eligible as there are only a total of 5 vacancies for the two posts combined – 2 posts for the Hindi translator and 3 posts for the Stenographer.

- Master’s degree in Hindi from a recognised university with English as the main subject.
- Diploma in translation from English to Hindi.

- The maximum age for application is 35 years.

The eligibility criteria for the post of Stenographer are as follows –
- A graduate degree from a recognised university.
- 120/50 word per minute speed in Shorthand and typing.
- Minimum one year of experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft in the computers.
- The maximum age for application is 32 years.

The selection procedure for both the exams will involve a written test. However, for the post of a stenographer, candidates will also have to appear for a skill test. The question in these exams will be objective multiple-choice questions. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
The skill test for stenographers will involve dictation, preparing power point slides and tables on MS Excel. More details about the syllabus and exam can be found in the notification released by Hindustan Copper Limited. The notification can be downloaded from the official website of the company.
The admit card for the exam will be released soon, once the application process is completed. The announcement for it will be made on the website of the company.
