MICA has won Mahindra War Room for a record second year running. Our students have consistently done well across national level B-School competitions, with victories in FCB + ULKA presents Comstrat, RB Mavericks and Titan Elevate in the last one year.
Apart from these victories, teams from MICA have also been national finalists in competitions like Deloitte Mavericks, Colgate Transcend, HUL LIME, Ground Zero by Future Group and CEB Insight Case Study Competition.
MICA’ns have not only excelled in corporate competitions like the above but also proved their mettle in various live projects outsourced by brands like Xiaomi, LAVA, UBER, TATA Steel, OYO Rooms, Wildlife Trust of India etc.
We attribute this success to our pedagogy, the life and thinking inculcated at MICA. The learning environment is robust with a balanced gender ratio, unlike most B-schools in India. The academic curriculum for the PGDM-C course is designed in a manner that pushes our students towards divergent thinking. In addition to core subjects like Marketing Management, Product Management, Business Finance, Economics, Research Methodology there are other unique disciplines that are taught at MICA. Some of these subjects are Luxury Branding, Sports Marketing, Semiotics, Urban Retail Studies, Services Marketing.
At MICA, we also believe in providing our students with adequate international exposure. Some of the renowned names we have hosted on campus are Dr. Robert Picard (the father of Media Economics), Mr. Philip Kitchen (the founder of Integrated Marketing Communications) and Professor Terrance Brake from TMA World.
The learning environment at MICA focuses on being experiential and pushes our students to find creative and strategic solutions to problems. Classroom learning just forms a part of the curriculum, as students are encouraged to understand the nuances of business and marketing through their own observations and perspectives.
