(i)A student with recognized Medical qualification shall be included in the First or Second Schedule / Part II of Third Schedule (other than the Licentiate qualification), the Indian Medical Council Act, in 1956.
(ii) Postgraduate degree or post-graduate diploma, in the specialty department. (iii) Work in a responsible position with the specialty concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani and Marathi. |

Age Limit: 45 years
(i)A candidate with a decent academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at the Master’s Degree in the equivalent subject from an Indian University or a similar degree from the foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET) or state Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for the appointment of Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been given Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission with minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree and shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility. |
