Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) released vacancy notification for Engineers or Officers through GATE 2017. Online applications for the posts will be accepted from January 10, 2017 to February 10, 2017.
Candidates who wish to apply to these posts will be selected only on the basis of GATE 2017 marks. Only those with a 4-year full time engineering degree in the following subjects will be eligible to apply;
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Instrumentation Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Communications
Further, candidates (belonging to General and OBC-NC category) should have secured minimum 60% marks (aggregate marks of all semesters) in qualifying degree examinations.
Candidates appearing in a GATE paper different than that of their qualifying engineering discipline will not be considered for further selection procedure. This means, if a candidate with a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering appears for a Civil Engineering paper in GATE 2017, his/her candidature will not be considered for further shortlisting.
