GATE 2017 Electronic and Communications Engineering topic wise exam analysis
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017 is being conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. Electronic and Communication Engineering (ECE) paper was successfully conducted on February 5, 2017, in two sessions, from 9am to 12 pm, and 2pm to 5pm. Below is a question paper analysis for Electronic and Communication Engineering for both the sessions by experts.

Comments on GATE 2017 Electronic and Communications Engineering session 1 paper by GateForum
- EC paper I has more formula based questions.
- Compared to last year, in Communications and Electromagnetics weightage has come down while it is increased in Digital circuits and Signals & systems.
- In remaining topics IIT Roorkee has followed almost the same weightage compared to last year.
- In general the overall difficulty level of the paper is moderate than last year.
