Following the season of notifications that will be the precursor to the MBA season which kickstarts in November, XAT came out with its notification today,
Following are some of its salient features:
Date of exam: January 3rd, 2010
Test Timings: 10.00 am to 12.30 pm
The candidate has to register first on www.xlri.edu and only then can he/she buy the XAT form.
Online registration for XAT 2010 starts on 01 Sep 2009 and ends on 30 Nov 2009
The candidate can get the XAT Bulletin from the XAT office in Jamshedpur or buy it from select branches of Axis bank. The cost of the form in the first case is Rs. 850 and in the second is Rs. 800

The online registration will create a) Bank pay in slips in three parts, one part of which is for the bank, one part to be sent to XAT office and one part to be retained by the candidate for future reference (if any) b) XAT id and password which will give you an individual login on xlri.edu for future correspondence with the XAT office

Our advice:
Add [email protected], [email protected] to your emails safe senders list
Get your certificates ready (class 10th, 12th, graduation and SC/ST certificate, if applicable)
Because the filled in form has to reach the XAT office within seven days of its purchase from Axis Bank, do get everything in order before you buy the form.
