It is obviously a cumbersome task for parents to evaluate among the management institutes in their town and come to a conclusion of “this is the best b-school to put my ward”. Another predominant aspect is such that not all parents are associated with educationalists or academic expert to clarify their queries related to educational institutions. When a parent wants to evaluate the same the parameters are: technology management education, Intelligence scale raiser, high academic and non academic achievement, educational leadership and innovation, values and believes inculcation, citizenship behaviour and trustful management.
Technology management -seeking for the pioneering step that the institution has taken among other competing institutes in their locality or other cities or states is a must. May it be either introduction of technology based teaching methodology for enhanced student learning nor the institute’s initiative in exposing the students towards modern technologies in management education.
Intelligence raiser -The B-school should consider this parameter of prime importance -satisfying this prime importance – any parent’s heart is won forever because an institute has a demonstrated statistics of consistent achievement with their students then that can be the best evidence among other competing institutes as a result they are best placed. Educational leadership – It is not an easy thing for every management institute to acquire, inspite of the difficulty if one institute is able to establish itself as a pioneer in introducing successful teaching methodology, global environment based course plan ,academic and non academic initiatives.
Values – Another sphere is of the values that a management institute inculcates in fetching the students with the requisites for tomorrow’s ethical business or corporate world. Those passed out should have shown proven results after their leaving the institute. When a student is well behaved it definitely (if not to a certain extent) speaks of the educational background he / she is from which evidently reflects only when they are out of the campus and when they are given a chance in the world. Trust-Final dimension is the trust towards the management of the particular management institute. Any management who has succeeded more than a decade has its own hall of fame and trust. The management will never take a step that endangers their brand name and fame at any point of time.
A management which satisfies all the above facets is the best ever one and when they are very transparent with their structure of fee and other systems any intelligent parent would be a better person to realize its worth. When those parents misunderstand those institutes with less quality to be the best, the ultimate looser is their ward(s) and none other. Parents’ responsibility in gifting the children the best management education after evaluating with above considerations are sure to gain their ward’s gratitude for lifelong.
After all the parent knows better, that his/ her ward needs nothing less than BEST.
