ESIC is a self-financed social security and health insurance scheme for Indian workers. It was founded on 24 February 1952. It is situated in New Delhi, India. It administrates the selection processes for the employment of labourers in India. An opportunity has now been made available by ESIC for the posts of Senior Residents. There are about 75 posts which are vacant.

Other eligibility criteria can be listed as follows:
1.Senior Resident (Regular): Should have completed MBBS and PG Degree or Diploma in an area of speciality.
Those who terminate/ resigns within the span of 9 months from date of contract with or without advanced notice, the amount of 30000 that had been deposited as the Security Money will be seized.
2.Senior Resident against GDMO for one year: should have completed MBBS and PG degree or diploma in an area of speciality
Those who are selected and terminates/ resigns within 3 months of signing a contract, the amount of 30000 that had been deposited as Security Money will be seized.
