Educational Qualification-
Senior Resident:
- The candidate must be MBBS with Post Graduate degree or hold a Diploma in the concerned specialty.
- Candidates should be registered under the Karnataka Medical Council of India OR Medical Council of India before joining the post.

Age Criteria-
The age limit of the candidate shall not be more than 37 years i.e. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and Ex-Serviceman as per govt. of Indian norms.

And also, the number of candidates can increase or decrease in accordance with Employees State Insurance Corporation Hospital (ESIC) as its self-governing organization. This post shall not be permanent but will be on a contract basis which shall be of minimum 1 year and which can be extended up to 3 years.
