Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra has notified the post graduate candidates in an official notification that the submission of information by NEET PG candidates will begin on January 27. Candidates who appeared for NEET PG and MDS examination and willing to take admission in the the state quota medical seats in government colleges and private/deemed universities will have to submit their information through the official website.
The submissions on the website www.dmer.org and www.mahacet.org will begin from January 27 and end on February 10.
Based on the information provided by the candidates and their ranks in the NEET PG 2017 examination, a provisional merit list for the state will be made. A separate brochure for admission to various government / corporation and unaided private (including deemed) university / institutes will be uploaded today on the official website. Candidates must read the brochure carefully before submitting the online application for the counselling procedure.
Maharashtra is one of the states which accepted combined counselling for private and government colleges across the state offering post graduate medical courses.
