Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), Indian Railways, Varanasi has recently announced a recruitment notification for apprentice posts. Diesel Locomotive Works expects to fill a total of 374 vacancies (300 ITI and 74 non-ITI). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW).
The candidates should note that the last date to apply online for the recruitment is on November 21, 2019. The online registration window for the recruitment will be deactivated post 04:45 pm on the above-mentioned date. Interested candidates are advised to apply online as early as possible before the deadline.
The candidates that will be shortlisted and selected will have to undergo training and will be offered apprenticeship on a contractual basis in the Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), Indian Railways. According to the official notification, candidates applying for the apprenticeship should be registered and have a registration number from the Regional Directories of Apprenticeship Training (RDAT). Candidates can register themselves online by visiting the official website of the RDAT. The Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) has made it clear that if the candidate applying for the apprenticeship is not registered with RDAT, his / her application shall be cancelled.
The last date to pay the application fee is November 21, 2019. Candidates should note that the application fee for the apprentice recruitment Rs. 100 however, women and SC/ ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

The eligibility for both the ITI and non-ITI vacancies of the apprenticeship are mentioned below.
ITI Vacancies:
Age Limit
- The candidate should be at least 15 years of age to be eligible.
- The maximum age limit for the apprenticeship is 24 years.
Educational qualification
- Candidate should have qualified class 10 from a recognized Board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks and should have qualified ITI in the concerned trade.
Non-ITI Vacancies:
Age Limit
- The candidate should be at least 15 years of age to be considered eligible.
- The maximum age limit for non-ITI vacancies is 22 years.
Educational Qualification
- Candidate should have qualified class 10 from a recognized Board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link ‘Link for 43rd Batch Act Apprentice online form.’
Step 3: Click on the online application link to proceed further
Step 4: Register on the website and log in using the ID and password
Step 5: Once done, fill the online application form accurately and proceed to pay the application fee
Step 6: Pay the application fee through the preferred mode
Step 7: Upload the scanned copies of the required images, documents/ certificates
Step 8: A confirmation page will be displayed on the screen, download and print it for future use
