The Defence Food Research Laboratory, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, Mysore has invited applications for the posts of Research Associates and Junior Research Fellows. The details of the vacancies are as follows:

Research Associate 01 Candidates must possess a Ph.D.
in Microbiology
/ Biotechnology in the first class
with a minimum of 65% in their post graduate degree with
minimum three years experience. In addition,
he must have published at least one paper from their thesis in a journal

Junior Research Fellow 02 Candidates must have passed with
a first class or with
minimum 65% in their post graduation degree with M. Sc/ M. Tech in food sciences/Food technology/ Food Science & technology/Food Science & Nutrition/Chemistry. Candidates must be NET qualified.
3.
Junior Research Fellow 03 Candidates
must have passed with first class or minimum
65% marks in their post graduate degree in M.Sc/ M.Tech or in Microbiology / Biotechnology
/ Biochemistry/ Bioscience/ Botany/ Life Science. Candidates
must be NET qualified.
Duration
of the Fellowship – Two years.
Remuneration
As
determined by the authority.
Age
limit
Candidates
applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate
(RA) must not be more than 28 years and 35 years of age respectively. The upper
age limit is relaxable by 5 years and 3 years for candidates of SC/ST and OBC
categories respectively.
