Almost over 1300 students suffered to appear for the entrance examination of Devi Ahilya Vidyalaya courses. After witnessing these sufferings, students were held in protest the vice chancellor Dr NK Dhakad. After the quick investigation, Madhya Pradesh government executed section 52 of the MP universities act, 1973 and removed the varsity vice chancellor Dr NK Dhakad from the post he was handling.
The orders were first issued by the chief secretary of the higher education department Saleena Singh to execute the section 52 act against the vice chancellor after the mismanagement act was proved. The section 52 gives government the freedom of acting in emergency and provide the university with a much better administration in difficult situations.
Media had an interaction with the dejected vice chancellor where he confessed is share of disappointment. He also confessed that, if this was a decision taken by the government, he accepts it whole heartedly, also said that he is very confident that he has done his work to the best from his side. He signed off by telling the reporters.
There was lots of protest all over the day around the campus urging for the removal of the vice chancellor. Dhakad was safely taken out of the campus through the backdoor. Once his removal was made official, students celebrated it with distributing sweets to the parents who were present there in the protest circle. The computer-based examination was held over one and half hours late due to the technical issues faced.
