CUSAT (Cochin University of Science & Technology) is an authority to conduct the university level entrance exam for admission in various PG courses and B. Tech. It is conducted with the name of Cochin University of Science & Technology Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT). It additionally conducts the Lateral Entry Test (LET) and Department Admission Test (DAT). It is usually the computer-based exam and conducted during the last week of April. It is conducted every year to admit eligible candidates to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering, medical, law and many other courses that are offered across 23 campuses. It is a gateway to many 3-year and 5-year engineering courses. Once the candidate has cleared the written test they will have to appear for the interview/group discussion rounds for the final selection and admission in the course.

Important Dates
Aspirants willing to take admission in engineering degree programmes offered should refer to the important dates. The dates released will have all the information about releasing the application form to the admission process. It is necessary that the aspirants must keep themselves updated with the dates for the application form, last date of submission, date of exam and other important details for the admission. With these candidates will be able to themselves updated.
The online application form for the registration for the exam will be released on 30th January 2019 and candidates can submit the application form till 21st February 2019 without any late fee. The date for application fee is extended till 28th February 2019 for the registered candidates. Admit Card will be released on March 25, 2019, till the exam date which is 7th April 2019. The admission authority will also release the rank list after the result. The final merit list will be announced after the interview and the group discussion round.
