Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute is a marine fisheries research institute located at Kochi, India. It is an Indian Council of Agricultural Research institute. The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute established by the Government of India under the Ministry of Agriculture in 1947 became a member of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) family in 1967.

Maximum age limit : Interested candidates should not be more than 45 yrs old.
Essential Qualifications : Candidates should possess a graduate’s degree in Zoology/Botany/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Fisheries/Marine Biology from any recognised University.
Desirable qualification : Candidate should possess a research experience in Fin fish hatchery activities or,
Experience in fishery Biology work or,
Experience in Fishery Microbiology.
Remuneration (in Rs. per month) : 15,000/-
Method of selection : The selection of the candidates will be based on personal interview.
