CMAT 2023 Score: Sectional and Overall Score
CMAT scores are calculated using a scaled scoring method. Each section has its own cutoff, which is the minimum score required to qualify for the next stage of the admission process. The CMAT scores of a Candidate are calculated as follows: 100 X Number of candidates appeared in the examination with raw marks EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate Total number of candidates appeared. The NTA CMAT exam 2023 Score of the Total is NOT an aggregate or average of the NTA Score of individual subject. There is no CMAT sectional cutoff, only an overall cutoff. A few colleges accepting CMAT consider the sectional cutoff. However, other CMAT colleges do not look for CMAT sectional cut-off as per the previous year trends.
How to Calculate the CMAT 2023 Percentile
Step 1: Determine the total number of candidates who took the CMAT exam.
Step 2: Calculate the number of applicants who achieved raw marks equal to or less than the candidate’s raw marks.
Step 3: Divide the number obtained in Step 2 by the total number of candidates from Step 1.
Step 4: Multiply the result from Step 3 by 100 to convert it into a percentile score.
Step 5: The final value obtained in Step 4 represents the CMAT percentile score for the candidate.
Additionally, if you want to calculate the CMAT rank using the percentile score, you can use the following formula:
Rank = 10,000 – (Percentile / 100) x 10,000
This formula will provide the CMAT rank based on the percentile score.
