The Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), Tamil Nadu has invited applications from eligible candidates for various Technical posts. The details of these posts are as follows:

Essential Qualification
I. Junior Engineering Assistant IV (Chemical) – Candidates must hold a first class (minimum 55% minimum marks for SC/ST category candidates) or Degree in Chemical/ Petroleum/ Petro- Chemical Engg./ Technology or B. Sc with chemistry as a major subject. In addition, candidates must possess minimum 2 years post qualification work experience in a relevant field.
II. Junior Engineering Assistant IV (Mechanical) – Candidates must possess first class (minimum 55% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category candidates) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, candidates must possess minimum two years of post qualification work experience in a relevant field.
III. Junior Engineering Assistant IV (Electrical) – Candidates must possess first class diploma (minimum 55% for SC/ST candidates) in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering. In addition, they must possess minimum two years post qualification experience in a relevant field.
IV. Junior Engineering Assistant IV (Instrumentation) – Candidates must possess first class diploma in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics & Instrumentation/Electronics & communications Engineering. In addition, candidates must possess minimum two years post qualification experience in a relevant field.
V. Junior Engineering Asst. IV (Automobile) – Candidates must possess first class diploma (minimum 55% marks for SC candidates) in Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering with automobile as a special subject. In addition candidates must possess minimum two years post qualification work experience in a relevant field.
Age limit
Candidates must not be more than 28 years old. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years and 3 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories respectively.
