Prof. Shalini R Urs, the brain and face
behind MYRA School of Business, Mysore, with her core expertise in educational
leadership, has once again been recognized as a ‘Change Maker’, a ‘Thought Leader’, a ‘Visionary’.
SkillTree,
a Global Higher Education Think Tank and Advisory Consortium, felicitated Prof.
Shalini Urs with the title of “Education
Evangelist of India” for her outstanding contribution to the domain of
Indian Higher Education.
The
award was given by Shri RV Deshpande, Honorable Minister for Higher Education
and Tourism and the memento was handed out by Shri Subimal Bhattacharjee, renowned
International Cyber Security Expert and former Country Head, General Dynamics
at a gala event held at Hotel JW Marriott, Bengaluru, on Sunday, March 29, 2015,
7:00 PM. Other B Schools that got the
recognition are Great Lakes, BITS Pilani, Apeejay and others.
‘Education Evangelist of India’ is a private
recognition given to Educational visionaries and Thought Leaders of India. Education Evangelist of India – SkillTree’s Annual
Thought Leadership convocation ceremony is the culmination of efforts of an
in-depth research to identify 20 people from across the nation for their exemplary
work and contribution to the domain of higher education. A television series by
the same name as the award – the first
ever television series, started in 2013 in media partnership with ET NOW,
documented and showcased the journey of the awardees, culminating in an annual Coffee
Table book and a convocation ceremony.

Tecnova Global, Unilog Corp, Ypaycash with salaries in the range of 6 to 19
lakhs. Final round of interviews at RBL, Surewaves, DCB Bank and others are on.
