The Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute has invited applications for the posts of Junior Stenographers and Assistants. The details of the vacancies are as follows:
Junior Stenographers
No. of vacancies: 10
Essential Qualifications: Candidates must possess at least an H.S.C or equivalent qualification from a recognized university/ institute with a typing speed of 80 wpm in shorthand and typewriting and 40 wpm in English/ 35 wpm in Hindi on computer.
Remuneration: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with a G.P of Rs. 2,400/- per month.
Assistants
No. of vacancies: 15
Essential Qualifications: Candidates must possess at least an H.S.C or equivalent qualification in Commerce and a typing speed of 35 wpm in English/ 30 wpm in Hindi.
Remuneration: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with a G.P of Rs. 1,900/- per month
Age limit: For both the posts, candidate should not be more than 28 years of age as on 20.07.2015.

After the completion of application process, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100/- in the form of Demand Draft valid for a period of three months. DD should be in the favour of Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute and payable at the State Bank of India, Durgapur (Code No. 00074).
