A total of 413 vacancies have been notified in CDS 2 2016 exam for entry in Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, , Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad, Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA), Chennai (Men and Women). Combined Defence Services (CDS) II 2016 exam was conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), in 41 centers across the country, yesterday, October 23, 2016. About 2.25 lakh candidates appeared for the CDS exam which is conducted twice a year.
The Maths paper consisted of 100 questions. The time duration for the paper was two hours. Marks obtained in Maths paper are considered for candidates who apply in IMA, AFA and INA for Permanent Commission.
As per the tentative schedule, UPSC is expected to declare the results of the written test in January 2017.
