Dear Readers,
The CBSE has announced that candidates who
had appeared for JEE Main 2015 can obtain a photocopy of their OMR sheet, the official
answer key and the calculation sheet from the board. Candidates who are
interested in getting these documents must apply to the CBSE on or before
08.06.2015. The application must include a demand draft of Rs. 500 (payable to
Secretary, CBSE and payable at Delhi/New Delhi, issued by any scheduled bank).
As per the notification, candidates need to
clearly mention details of their roll number and address in the application and
on the backside of the demand draft. The photocopy of the documents will be
sent by speed post to the candidates.
Those candidates who have already applied
for the OMR Sheet, answer key and calculation sheet under the RTI Act, 2005
need to apply afresh before 08.06.2015. These candidates are also required to
pay the fee of Rs 500 for obtaining these documents.
The documents will be made available only
to the candidates themselves; hence, any application made on behalf of a candidate
will be rejected. The Board will have the rights to reject incomplete
applications and any application received after 08.06.2015.
The Board will also not provide the OMR
sheet and answer key to any institution or school for display or commercial
purposes. The print media has also been restricted from availing the documents.
