The official notification has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE to pre-pone the CBSE Board 2020 Practical examination and internal assessment for class 10th and 12th. Students appearing in 2020 CBSE board exam can check the changed schedule on the official website of CBSE.
The notification released on the CBSE website states that the schools situated in winter bound areas must conduct their Class 12th practical examination and project assessment and internal assessment for class 10th between 15th November 2019 to 14th December 2019.
CBSE have taken this decision keeping in mind that the schools in the winter bound areas like hilly areas remains closed in the month of January and February first half considering it as the peak of the winter season.
Earlier it was instructed to all the schools to conduct the practical exams for class 10th and 12th from 1st January 2020 to 7th February 2020. Later it has been postponed to November – December 2019 month. Students can get complete information on http://cbse.nic.in/ .
The changes to be included in the practical examination of class 12th is also a part of the notification released. The subject list will be same as before and the practical exam must be held in the presence of an internal and an external examiner.
The external examiner must conduct and upload the marks of the students on the same date as that of the exam. CBSE instructed that all the practical examination of class 10th and 12th would be “geo-tagged”. The external examiner also must click a picture clearly show all the students who are appearing for the examination on the day and also the external examiner, internal examiner and observer and upload to the app.
