Just like last year, 20 candidates have scored an overall 100 percentile in CAT 2017. Although last year all the CAT exam toppers were male engineers, this year the wheels have turned. Three female candidates and three non-engineers have made it to the list of top 20 CAT scorers this year.
A total of 1, 99, 632 candidates took the CAT 2017 which was conducted across 140 test cities. Over 2.3 lakh candidates applied for CAT 2017 and this year largest number of candidates took part in the exam in 3 years.
