CAT 2013 results at 9.00 am tomorrow.
CAT 2013 results expected to be out at 9.00 am tomorrow. They will not be out midnight today as has been the tradition for the last few years. Confirming this, CAT 2013 Convenor Prof Rohit Kapoor said that all work is complete and only work of declaration remains.
According to sources, the man reason why results are being declared tomorrow and not midnight is because the NIC officials who are going to be helping IIMI with the process, are not in a position to work all night. It is common knowledge that once results are out, applicants rush to the CAT site to check their results – this often leading to a crash plus additional work for the IT staff to get the process up and working again. Declaring the results at midnight this time would have meant, that both, NIC and IIM-I officials would have to be up all night.
In addition, tomorrow is a bank holiday (Idd and Makarsankranti), yet NIC officials have agreed to come over to the IIM-I campus for CAT 2013 results.
At 12.30 am today, this was what came up on the CAT website.
