The notification regarding the Common Admission Test (CAT) is probably going to release on 28th July 2019. Candidates who will be appearing on the exam can check the same on the official website, https://iimcat.ac.in/.
The Common Admission Test or CAT is an entrance exam for students who are willing to get admission to PGDM or MBA courses which are offered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM). Every year, one of the IIMs conduct the exam on a rotation basis. CAT 2019 will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode.

Candidates will need to meet a certain set of criteria for being eligible for applying for CAT 2019. They are as follows:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates coming from unreserved or general category must have passed graduation along with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university. Candidates belonging from the reserved categories can apply if they have scored at least 45% aggregate marks in their graduation from any recognized university. Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible for applying for the exam.
- Age limit: There are no restrictions when it comes to the age of the candidate applying for CAT 2019.
Foreign candidates are also eligible for applying for the CAT 2019 exam, provided they fulfil all the other eligibility criteria. It is a computer-based exam. Candidates will have to answer questions coming from the following topics – Quantitative Ability (QA), Logical Reasoning (LR), Verbal Ability (VA), Reading Comprehension (RC), and Data Interpretation (DI).
