The Common Admission Test (2014) results have been declared today. At least 16 of the lot have bagged a 100 percentile and this number includes one girl.
The results, which were to be declared last week were delayed since some backend glitches had to be ironed out.

This year some 1.97 lakh candidates appeared for the CAT exam, a drop from the previous year. CAT registration numbers have been on a steady decline for the last couple of years.
This CAT exam, was also IIM Indore’s Prof Rohit Kapoor’s second stint as CAT Convenor, which was unprecedented since the practise has been to handover the exam responsibility to a different IIM each year. However, since the testing agency changed hands, from Prometric to TCS, it was felt that continuing with an experienced CAT Convenor would help the process.
Another notable change this year was that the exam was held only on two days, namely November 16 and 22. The results are also being declared relatively earlier as compared to the previous years when they used to be announced in the first week of January.
