Canara Bank – Vacancies for CCSO (Chief Customer Service Officer)

Canara Bank is an Indian state-owned bank headquartered in Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. It was established in 1906, making it one of the oldest banks in the country. The government nationalised the bank in 1969. As of March 2015, the bank had a network of 5675 branches and more than 8533 ATMs spread across India. The bank also has offices abroad in London, Hong Kong, Moscow, Shanghai, Doha, Dubai, and New York.

The Canara Bank has invited candidates for the Chief Customer Service Officer positions. The details of these vacancies are as follows :

Post : Chief Customer Service Officer

No. of vacancies :  01

Remuneration (in Rs. per month) :  60,000 – 75,000/-

Maximum age limit (as on 30-06-2015) : The candidate should not be more than 61 years old.

Essential qualification : The candidate should be retired General Manager / Deputy General Manager from any Scheduled Commercial Bank other than Canara Bank. 

Experience : The applicant should necessarily have exposure in working of more

than three areas of operations in banking, such as General banking, Credit, Forex

Operations, treasury, government business, merchant banking, credit card operations etc.

Method of selection : The selection of the candidates will be depend upon the short listing based on their qualification & experience and will be followed by a personal interview.
