The University of Calicut is located in the Indian state of Kerala and run by the state government. It was established in 1968 and is among one of the top educational institutions in India. It is the second university to be established in Kerala after the University of Kerala. Thousands of students aspire to be a part of this university every year.
The University of Calicut has a very refined method of education and follows the semester system. The University offers several courses along with various undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It has released the results for the exams of the first semester. The results are available for the students pursuing the courses of Bachelor of Science or B.Sc. and Bachelor of Commerce or B.Com.
The results have been released by the university in the online mode. This means that candidates will only be able to access their results from the relevant website provided by the University of Calicut. The examination for the first semester was conducted in the months of June and July, and students have awaited the results ever since.
The results have not been published on the official website of the University of Calicut, which is www.uoc.ac.in. It has a separate portal for exam results. Candidates can access their results following a few simple steps. These are as follows –
- Go to the relevant website
The results for the first semester exams of B.Sc. and B.Com. students are available on the website as provided by the University of Calicut, for the publication of results. The website is http://www.cupbresults.uoc.ac.in/CuPbhavan/index.php. Students must refrain from using any other links as this is the only website on which the results have be published.
- Choose the correct tab
Once the website opens up, candidates must choose the correct tab in order to access the results. The results for the given exams are available under the ‘Examination Results’ Tab. Click on the tab.
- Fill in the credentials
Upon clicking the link, students will be prompted to fill in their personal details. These details might include the registration number, image code etc. Once the students fill in the details, they should click on the Submit button.
- Check the results
Upon pressing on submit, the results of the student will be displayed on the screen. Students must carefully check their results and go through the details.
- Download and print
After checking their results, students can download their results on their computer in the PDF format. They can also take a printout of the result for future references. However, the results will be provided to the students in the final mark sheet.
Students might face difficulties in accessing the website for checking their results. This is because of high traffic on the website caused by huge number of students trying to access their results. Students are advised to wait patiently for the traffic to lower down and access their results thereafter.
