The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is a body created by the Constitution of India to select applicants for civil service jobs in the Indian state of Bihar according to the merits of the applicants and the rules of reservation.

Maximum age limit (as on 01-08-2015): Interested candidates should not be more than 37 yrs old.
Educational Qualifications : Candidates should possess a B.E./B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech in relevant branch with first class or equivalent.
Experience : Minimum of 10 years experience in teaching/ research/ industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at the level of Professor or
Minimum of 13 years experience in teaching and/or Research and/or Industry
Remuneration (in Rs. per month) : 37,400 – 67,000 + Grade Pay Rs.10,000/- + Spacial Allowance
Method of selection : Candidates will be selected on the basis of Academic Background, Evaluation of Academic Performance, Research Performance, Domain Knowledge, Teaching Skill and Viva Voce.
