Bombay High Court has declared the notification for recruiting people in the post of translator and interpreter. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website.
As per the notification, nearly 12 people will be hired for the post of junior translator and interpreter. They will be posted at the Bombay High Court, Mumbai, Maharashtra. But this job will be on a contractual basis. It is expected that the application procedure online will start on or before 10 Nov 2019.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who want to apply for the same needs to be within the age limit of 18 years to 38 years as and on the date of publication of the advertisement. However, the criteria for the maximum age limit won’t be valid to government employees and the employees of the high court as well.
In addition to this, the maximum age limit is five years more for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories including those under special backward class as specified by the time being by the state government of Maharashtra.
The candidates need to have any university degree in either English or any one of the regional languages viz. Hindi, Marathi and Gujrathi. Although, candidates having a degree in law may be given special preferences with a degree in English and being proficient in any two of the regional languages : Hindi, Marathi, Gujrathi and Konkani.
Eligible candidates need to appear for a Screening test & Viva-voce. At the time of viva, the candidate needs to produce their one of their identity proofs: PAN Card, Voter ID card or Driving license.
The candidates who will be eligible for the viva, their names will be displayed on the official website of Mumbai High Court, bombayhighcourt.nic.in. Their call for letter will be available online which they need to download from the website. The candidates need to check the website on a daily basis.
Pay Scale
The individuals selected will get a pay scale ranging from ₹ 35400 to 112400, plus allowances will be there as per the rules.
