Recruiters at BIM came from Consulting, Financial Services, IT & IT Services, and FMCG. Companies participating in the placement process for the first time included 3i Infotech, Deloitte, GE Capital, HUL, HSBC Bank, ICRA, IMaCS, IOCL, JP Morgan, STCI, and VSNL.
Banking & Financial Services were the main recruiter taking 43 pc of the batch. It was represented by Adventity, Centurion Bank of Punjab, GE Capital, Genpact, HSBC Bank, ICICI Bank, ICRA, Irevna, JP Morgan, SBI Life, and STCI. Consulting attracted 19 pc of the students. Recruiting companies include Accenture, Deloitte, IMaCS, and Mindtree Consulting. 9 pc of students preferred FMCG sector, offers made by Asian Paints, CavinKare, HUL, ITC, Nerolac, VF Arvind Brands, and Wipro Consumer Care. IT/ITES domain took along 15 pc of the batch in companies like 3i Infotech, Infosys, and Sify. Manufacturing and Telecom each had 6 pc share of the batch.
