The Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) is responsible for various recruitments in the Bihar Police Department. Recently in the month of August 2019, a job notification for various posts of Sub Inspector, Sergeant, and Assistant Superintendent Jail was announced by the BPSSC.
The online applications for the recruitment drive were commenced from August 22 to September 28, 2019. Earlier the last date for the online registrations was on September 25, 2019, which was later extended till September 28, 2019.
The first round of selection process for the recruitment comprises of two written tests, the first one being the Prelims Examination and the second test Mains Examination. Recently, the date for the Prelims Examination has been released online through an official notice by the Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC).
According to the official notice, the Prelims Examination for the Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) Sub Inspector, Sergeant, and Assistant Superintendent Jail recruitment 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on December 22, 2019. Both the written tests will have multiple-choice questions (MCQ). The admit card for the prelims examination will be released online 10 days before the examination date.

Once the admit card for the prelims examination is released online, candidates can visit the official website of the Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) and download it. The prelims examination consists of 100 questions for a total of 200 marks. The total duration to answer the 100 multiple-choice questions will be two hours.
Candidates should note that both prelims and mains examination will have negative marking and 0.2 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates should score at least 30% marks in the prelims examination to reach the cutoff marks set by the BPSSC.

Step 3: The link will be redirected to a new webpage with related links
Step 4: Enter the required details such as the Application ID, Date of Birth and click ‘submit.’
Step 5: The admit card for the BPSSC SI preliminary examination 2019 will be displayed on the screen
Step 6: Download and take a printout of it for further use
