The Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the admit card for Bihar Excise Sub Inspector main examination. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website at http://bpssc.bih.nic.in/. The link for downloading admit card is available under the notice titled “Download Admit card of mains exam for the post of Excise Sub Inspector in Prohibition, Excise and Registration Dept., Govt. of Bihar.”
The main examination will be held in August. Candidates are required to enter either mobile number or registration number along with their date of birth. Candidates who qualify in the examination shall be called for a physical proficiency test. Successful candidates would join as Excise Sub Inspectors, and their pay scale would be 9300-34800 + grade pay of 4200.

Candidates are required to download call letter for the Physical test before the exam. Candidates will have to be present at the venue to undergo the physical test. Many efficiency tests are to be conducted by the authority.
The mains examination consists of two papers. One paper will have Hindi with 100 questions of a total of 200 marks. The duration is of the exam is two hours. However, this paper’s marks will not be counted, as this is only a qualifying examination. Paper 2 will have questions from General Studies, General Science, Civics, History of India, Mental Ability along with Mathematics. The second paper will also have a total of 200 marks and, the duration of the exam is 2 hours.
