Success Story – Satish Kumar- Bank PO, State bank of Travancore

Hello Banking Aspirants,

I am Satish Kumar from Hyderabad. I want to share my success story with you
all.
I did Masters in Pharmacy from JNTUH in 2012 with 81%. As you know pharmacy
students won’t have campus placements in most of the colleges. So I started
dropping resume to almost all pharmaceutical companies. I dint get any call
from any company.

 Pharmacy
companies need reference and recommendation which I don’t have. Though I got
selected in 2 companies they offered me around 7000 with 5 years bond which I
declined. Then I got job in Reliance health insurance in 2014 and I worked
there for just 3 months when I realized that’s not what I want. At this time I
have chosen banking as my career and started serious preparation from June
2014.

Here is my road map and all the exams I have attended

1)
SBI clerk 2014 =
not cleared written got only 105 marks

2) SIDBI 2014 = not
cleared

3) IBPS RRB PO  2014= got 109 but not
shortlisted for interview

4) IBPS rRB Office Assistant 2014 = got 157 but
not shortlisted for interview

5) IBPS PO 2014 = not
cleared written failed by 6 marks

6) IBPS Clerical  2014= got 165
and was allotted Allahabad bank

7) NIACL AO  2014 = got 111
attended interview but was not in final list

8) SBI Associate Clerk 2014 = written
cleared not going to attend the interview

9) SBI Associate PO   2014 = Cleared and
was allotted State bank of Travancore

10) SSC CGL  2014   = written
mains don’t have hope

Now I have decided to Join SBT and further prepare for RBI grade B.

I would like to thank my parents first for their enormous support and the peers
who helped me. I have prepared GK from the capsules provided by Bankersadda and
gr8ambitionz. Their GK capsules were excellent and helped in fetching good
score.

What I would like to say is, your hard work would never
go in vain. Believe in yourself, success will be definitely yours.

Thanks & All The Best!
