The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited has invited applications for the posts of Assistants and Junior Assistants. The details of the vacancies are as follows:

Essential Qualifications:
For Assistants: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent qualification from a recognized university in the State of Karnataka.
For Junior Assistants: Candidates should have a PUC qualification or should have passed an equivalent examination or should hold a diploma in Accountancy and Auditing or in Accountancy and Costing awarded by the State Council of Vocational Education, Government of Karnataka
For both the posts, candidates should be a local person from the Hyderabad – Karnataka region.
For both the posts, candidates must have good knowledge of Kannada (both reading and writing).
Age limit:
For both the posts, candidates should be between 18 to 35 years old as on 22.06.2015.

After submitting the application details, candidates should print the Post Office payment challan and deposit the application fee (Rs. 500/- for General category candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST category candidates) at any computerized post office in Karnataka (on or before 22.06.2015).
Candidates should print the application form for future reference.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in a written test duly following the reservation policy of the Government of Karnataka. The date for the written test shall be published in newspapers and on the BESCOM website.
