In this article, let us take a look at the Assam Down Town University.
The Assam Down Town University was established in 2010 and is a private state university. The university is located in Guwahati and is managed by the Downtown Charity trust. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission and is approved by AICTE.
The university is spread over a 45 acre plot overlooking the Bramhaputra and has state of art facilities like hostels, seminar halls, auditorium and workshops. The college also has various labs dedicated to various departments of engineering.
The college admits students for undergraduate programs through the Assam CEE. The college offers undergraduate programs in Civil engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communications engineering, Electrical & Electronics engineering and Mechanical engineering.
