Army Service Corps Recruitments has invited applicants for 744 TPT COY ASC type jobs for 2019. The ASC under the Ministry of Defence has announced jobs for 15 posts that include the recruitment of Firemen, Driver and Labour. Candidates (males only) can apply for the posts following the prescribed format within 30 days from the publication of advertisement at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Educational qualification for the above posts are as follows:
Driver: Matriculation from a recognised Board or University. Must possess 2 years of driving experience with a civil driving licence for heavy vehicles.
Labour: Matriculation from a reputed University or Board. He must have the physical fitness to perform difficult duties.
Fireman: Class 10 certification from a recognised board. Other educational criteria for fireman include:
- Must be familiar with fire equipment including the maintenance of all types of extinguishers, equipment fire engine, trailer, hose fitting, foam branches and pumps.
- Must possess knowledge of use and maintenance of trailer fire pump and first-aid fire appliances.
- Must be aware of elementary principles of Fire Fighting methods, which is used in different types of fighting.
- Must know the use of foot and appliance Fire Service Drills.
- Must have work experience of minimum 3 years in reputed Civil or Defence Fire Brigades as Grade 2 fireman.
The pay scale for different posts vacancy as shared by Army Service Corps Recruitments 2019 is Rs. 19,900 onwards for Driver, Rs. 18,000 for Labour and Rs. 19,900 onwards for Fireman. The last for the application is 8th September 2019.
