The Assam Public Service Commission came into existence on Ist April, 1937 in accordance with the provision of the Govt. of India Act, 1935. he Commission conducts examinations of candidates for appointment to the services in the State and to advise the Government on all matters relating to methods of recruitment to Civil Services.
Assam public service commission has invited candidates for the Combined Competitive Exam for various positions. The details of these vacancies are as follows :

Maximum age limit (as on 01-01-2015) : Candidate should not be more than 38 years old.
Essential Qualification : Interested candidates should possess a bachelors degree from a recognised university.
Method of selection : The selection of the candidates will be based upon the preliminary exam, written exam & interview.
