The candidates who didn’t pass their March 2019 board examinations of class 10 and 12 can appear as private candidates can now apply for CBSE Board Exam 2020. The application for the same is made available from August 26, 2019, and the last date for which shall be till September 30, 2019. For the convenience of the student, the Board has started accepting the application in August itself.
Who can appear for exams?
- Those who are claimed as failed in the 2019 Board Examination conducted in the month of February – March 2019.
- Students who had filled the forms of Main exams of 2019 but failed to appear in July 2019 and July 2019
- Students who want to improve their performance in one or more subjects can also appear as private candidates
- Candidates of 2014 or after who wants to give an Additional subject are also eligible to apply.
It is also to be noted that women and physically handicapped students from Delhi NCT can also appear for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2020 as a private candidate but this same rule is not available for CBSE Class 10 Board Examinations.
Students are requested to go through the detailed notification before filling the online application forms at the earliest.
Students should also note that the last date to apply is September 30 and dates for the same shall not be extended
Also, the examination would be conducted side by side along with regular students in the month of February and March. The board shall be releasing the admit card for the students online very soon.
