One more coaching aspirant preparing for medical entrance examination in coaching capital of the country has committed suicide by jumping off into Chambal valley gorge in Kota.
Kota City Police had received information about the suicide of an unidentified person in Chambal Valley, at the Gapernath picnic spot of Kota City. A Rajasthan Armed Constabulary-lead rescue team carried out the recovery operation in which the dead body of coaching aspirant Abhishek Sahu (17), a resident of Chhattisgarh was found in the gorge of the Chambal Valley, several hundred feet below.
Abhishek was taking coaching for NEET from Aakash Coaching institute in Kota and was staying in Kota for coaching from the last 2 years with her mother, Jageshwari Sahu. The deceased was student of class 12th.
Circle Inspector, RK Puram Police Station, Ramnath Singh said that the student had committed suicide on Wednesday afternoon. He said that a suicide note has been recovered from the pocket of the deceased student in which he has taken responsible for committing suicide and has also apologized to his parents and friends for taking this drastic step. In this note, the victim also wrote how he was going to commit suicide. ‘We are all born to die’, he wrote in suicide note.
About cause of suicide, IPS officer and Circle Officer, Kota City Police, Chunaram said that Abhishek’s mother has revealed that she rebuked her son due to which, he probably committed suicide. His mother used to rebuke Abhishek over studies and lending money to his friends.
The coaching institute, in an official press release, stated, “We are in a state of shock as there were no signs of depression, uneasiness, or agitation observed in the individual. The incident happened due to his personal reasons and does not involve any entity from the institute.”
After a coaching student of Bihar, Sneha Suman (16) hung herself to death in Mahaveer Nagar area of Kota City on 27th September, Abhishek is the 2nd suicide case in last 3 days, and the 13th this year.
